Privacy Policy for LEX

This Privacy Policy explains how LEX, an independent freelance project registered in Lithuania ("LEX", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the LEX mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: email address and the sign-in identifier from Apple or Google.
- Profile data: name, age range, and gender.
- Health and lifestyle data you provide: onboarding survey answers (sleep, stress, activity level, goals, chronic conditions, pain or injuries, dietary preferences and allergies, emotional challenges), your notes, and daily schedule entries.
- Meal photos you choose to submit for nutrition analysis.
- Subscription data: purchase and entitlement status. Payments are processed by Apple; we never receive or store your payment card details.
- Technical data: device information, app language, and service logs used for reliability and security.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide the App and generate personalized AI responses; enforce the daily request limit and manage subscriptions; maintain security and prevent abuse; respond to support requests; and improve the service.
3. AI Processing and Third-Party Services
To generate responses, the text and photos you submit are sent to our AI providers solely to process your request. We rely on the following processors:
- Supabase — authentication and data storage;
- OpenAI and Anthropic — AI request processing;
- RevenueCat, Apple, and Google — sign-in and subscription management.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
4. Health Disclaimer
LEX provides general informational content and is not a medical, diagnostic, psychological, or other professional service. AI responses do not replace advice from a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
5. Data Retention and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure and transmitted using encryption (TLS). We retain your data for as long as your account is active and delete it when you delete your account.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the App (Settings → Delete Account).
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing team@lex.fit.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection to processing. We will honor valid requests as required by law.
7. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
